Optical Networking for AI & Cloud Infrastructure
Semtech's FiberEdge® and DirectEdge™ platforms offer industry-leading high performance analog Laser Drivers and Transimpedance Amplifiers (TIAs) for optical modules used in data center networking, wirelessmobile transport fronthaul, FTTx access networks, optical transport and consumer/industrial applications. These platforms support Linear Pluggable Optics (LPO) and scale to 800G and 1.6T, delivering up to 40% lower power than DSP-based alternatives through advanced analog interconnect technology while laying the groundwork for future 3.2T deployments.
Copper Connectivity That Delivers
Semtech's CopperEdge™ products feature high-performance analog equalizers for copper interconnects, including Active Copper Cables (ACC), backplane and linecard interconnects and switch-to-server links. CopperEdge's analog architecture enables the lowest power copper connectivity, extending reach up to 5 meters at 112G PAM4, with < 0.75W power consumption per 400G and < 10ps latency, making it ideal for high-volume, low-latency deployments.
